Tiger Woods 2019 Masters Champion

Tiger Woods Had a Big Win this weekend golfing the Masters Tournament located at Augusta Golf Course, in Augusta Georgia.

After over a decade of scandals, injuries, multiple surgeries, and zero major wins, Tiger won his fifth green jacket at the 2019 Masters. He won by one stroke after a bogey on the 18th hole and thunderous applause from the audience at Augusta as well as from viewers around the country. Tiger's win was especially sweet because only two years earlier he announced that he was done with golf. The reason? Tiger could barely wing a golf club without collapsing in pain. After a spinal fusion surgery and long recovery golf was once again a possibility, but no one had high hopes. Since the beginning of 2019 tiger showed promise and continued to improve, but with only one victory the Masters was a long shot. Tiger's victory proved many critics wrong that his career was over, or that another major was impossible. Now the question is: what's next? Tiger needs one more Masters victory and only 3 majors to tie the all time records set by Jack Nicklaus. Fans around the world are watching to see if Tiger can stay healthy, both mentally and physically. For now the future looks bright for Tiger Woods, but only time will tell.
