In Summery- This article is about one of the best and most wanted honeys around the world. The problem is the year for honey was very scarce and the demand is still just as high if not higher. The type of honey I am discussing is tupelo honey.
This honey is being made in Florida and the bee keeper is talking about how this year for honey was not the best that it could have been. According to the New York Times Article, “Put it this way: The tupelo trees got beat all to heck this year, so they couldn’t bloom right,” said Ben Lanier, 61, whose family has been producing honey in the swamps of the Apalachicola River basin in Gulf County, Fla., for three generations."
Since they had troubles with the trees this year they had a bidding war when it came to what they where going to be selling it for the family decided 12 dollars a jar witch is way cheaper then you can get it online, the going rate for tupelo honey online is $22 to $32 dollars a jar.
It has been quite a rough few years for bees and honey, so this is a good thing that the Lanier family was able to get through this year.
In Review- This article has a catching title it is in active voice. It really does have credibility to it the personal quotations from the farmers and the experiences that they are having and have had really take an emotional appeal in the article.
We know in general that bees and honey are not doing the best so with that being said is article has a high attention rate. If you are a lover of honey I would suggest trying some Tupelo Honey I have tried it and it is absolutely delicious.
