An Inside Story on the Moorhead Hockey Winners of Boys Section Title.

Hockey is a big deal here in Minnesota. High School hockey in Minnesota is very high pace and if you make the commitment to be part of the hockey world you are making a life decision to be dedicated. As of tonight the 27th of February, the Moorhead Spuds won their section final game and are heading to the state Tournament. This is a big step in hopes that they are able to take home the big W, at the championship game at the Xcel in St. Paul, MN.

What I am here to tell you all about how great it is to win, even though it is. I am here to tell you about the behind the sense work that has to be put in to be able to get to this spot where the spuds are at now.

The game of hockey is a fun one, but along with all of the fun comes hard work and dedication. This team above and the teams before this one work hard everyday and have ups and downs just like everyone else.

The reason this is coming from me is my brother is the caption of the team this year and we wanted things to be different than they have before, so he did just that and made things different so they where able to get to the spot that they are now.

He stated "with all the public eye on us now, we still have to stick to our roots and what we have practiced and that will get it done".

With that being said, this will be my brothers last state tournament as a spud hockey player and they he will move on to play in the USHL.
